Client running WIN 7 32 OS getting the error message when logging into FRx. FRx32.OFSIMain.CheckOFSIConnection 8900: A DirectLink error has occurred during the ConnectToFinSysEntity procedure. Client has several WIN 7 32 OS WS running FRx without issue, just not this one. Running latest service pack (same as others). Have tried the PVXcom.exe trick as well as about half a dozen of the other suggestions listed on the KB for the message. It did mention copying a dll from the home folder to the common information folder on local PC (which I did) but since there was no mention of actually registering it, I didn't. FRx WAS working on WS when we initially installed it. Any thoughts before I get put on hold at Sage?

Right click on the FRX desktop icon - select run as administrator. I had this issue on a Windows 7 and it seemed to resovle the problem. Similar circumstances - my client had several Windows 7 workstations running -- and only had problems with this one. Worth a shot.

Thanks but that didn't work either.

Did you hit the program in the FRX folder that regedits all those DLLS automatically? I assume you did all the usual suspects. And the MAS user is in a role that has rights and if they're going to a unique company code that company code has ""allow external access

Didn't do the reg.bat file. I can't even log in via FRx.
