Client running Sage 100 Advanced as a remote application. Installed service pack 3 and IRD without issues. When the user launches it fires off the workstation synchronization. All seemed ok. But, every time they go back into Sage 100, it launched the synchronization again. Have I missed a step?

The user needs to have ""full control"" to the Client Workstation location on the terminal server. It sounds like it is not properly writing into the Client Workstation Folder. You may also need them to right click and launch Sage 100 ""as administrator"" to have all the components register properly.

Yes, probably rights (local admin) on the server where the client is, and the first time run sage 100 ""as administrator

You could also try logging in as yourself\admin. If it's a Terminal Server, i'd expect it only needs to run one time

The resolution to this was a little more complicated. When a Service Pack is installed it writes to the ""Autoupdater.ini"" file in the application, during workstation synchronization it updates the client side autoupdater.ini to reflect the same 5.30.3.0 revision. If these two files don't match it restarts the synchronization at the next login. For some unknown reason, not security, the INI file was missing from the client side location. Once I copied the file from the application side to the client side no more synchronization.
