Client on 4.50.03 has 3 new Win 7 and 1 new Win 8 workstations... when installing the client for Sage 100 Standard, it just hangs up. pvxcom.exe no help on this one. Client attempted on their own and left it running for 24 hours without it finishing. Spins for me as well. Anyone else run into this? Any ideas to get it moving?

How are you running the install? From the wksetup folder or from the install image? Perhaps try the other method. I assume the drive mapping is correct and permissions are ok. Running the install as local machine admin as well as selecting to run as administrator?

Try right click - run as admin --- as Gene indicated.

Just uninstalled the antivirus, and disabled the firewall for all networks, but it looks like it's still happening. . Also UAC is set to off.

Check rights and make sure that they have write access to write privelage to the MAS folder. Both NTFS permission and permission on the share.

Seems like I remember a similar problem in the past and the solution was to disable the Windows Print service before performing the install. May be worth a try.

There is a universal printer driver for a copier that loads on all systems when they join the network. We found that deleting the driver allowed the install to finish. Afterward we could reinstall the copier driver and all was well.
