Client on 4.30.21 because still on HT/SWK POS. Just recently started getting Error 054 while in POS Entry on one Windows7 computer only. Has anyone seen this in native MAS? KB references this error on log in, but that works fine. Once this error occurs, the entire machine freezes up & the MS programs get ""normal"" errors. Have ran malware & reinstalled MAS.

Found this on old Sage KB. Error 54 ""Unable to load error handler"" occurs when any error is generated before the error handling is established in the sequence of startup events. If possible, open the debug screen to find the program and line last executed to determine the cause. The system may be unable to write to a session file or some other file involved in the startup process. Resolution 1: Permissions to the share folder are incorrectly set. Verify that permissions are adequate. Resolution 2: Verify that file attributes are not set to 'Read-only'. Resolution 3: A file may be locked. To resolve, restart the workstation and server, if necessary. There are additional suggestions, but check these first.

@DanaYoung is it just MAS that is having the issue? I see a word error - have you looked to make sure it is not the Crypto virus?

It does only happen when MAS is open; there are instances when that is the only thing open. I will try some of these. Thank you!
