Client on 4.05 is trying to delete PO Receipt of Goods batches and is getting an error 47 POWDBA Line 7050. I can't find a reference to that error, so I thought I'd ask my brain trust...appreciate any help.

Are they completely wiping out their ROG's? If so, just reninitialize the files. Search the KB for directions. I just did this the other day. Took a couple of minutes.

    Try analyze and relink PO6

probably need to analyze and relink PO6 (or whatever the reciept of goods LINE file is I don't have it handy) (i always backup before analyze and relinking)

    Then rebuild PO sorts.

Was thinking an analyze & relink was in the mix (with the subsequent rebuild of sorts @ThereseLogeais :) ). @JeffSchwenk, not sure whether the whole file is open for a reinit, but great idea...will check.

The KB did give me a page on that error, which says to analyze and relink and then rebuild sorts. If this is one of your Job Ops customers you can't analyze and relink though, and have to manually fix via DFDM.

@PhilMcIntosh , where did you look? I have many links to different KB locations and none of them seem to work.

The program is looking at PO6, which is a short record, Line is evaluating PO6$(86,56) PO Index Line, PO$(93.7) Job# and PO6$(93,7) WO#. Analysis & Relink & Rebuild Sorts should fix by removing bad line.

Well, I guess it didn't like someone saying in public that it worked, because now when I go to partners.sagenorthamerica.com, log in, click on knowledgebase, and then click on the Sage 100 icon (for me Sage 300 is the default as of the latest ""upgrade"") I get ""400 Session Not Found SAP NetWeaver Application Server/Java AS Failed to process the request: Request refers to an unknown session

@ThereseLogeais Are you STILL using the OLD KB??? @DebThomas I keyed the exact message as you posted it (error 47 POWDBA Line 7050) in my KB link http://infosource.sagesoftwareonline.com/sw_attach/search.asp and it returned as the first line. Does anyone know for sure if this link is no longer being updated? Seems that the replacement is worse than horrible.

@JeffSchwenk yes I am if it is for an older version (i.e. 4.05 like Deb's). I assume it is NOT being updated with the latest fixes, etc.

I am sure it is not being updated but don't let anyone at Sage know that we still know how to access it or they might get rid of it completely!

That was exactly the link I was trying to find @JeffSchwenk - thanks! I have now cleared up all the weird Sage links. Sadly, again, I am unable to login to the resource that @ThereseLogeais provided. I've sent an email to Sage asking why I don't have login credentials...again. Sign, sometimes I wonder if I should just join another company...they seem to pretty much ignore me unless they want money.

Here's what I found on the Partner Portal: https://partners.sagenorthamerica.com/irj/go/km/docs/sageKM/Sage%20MAS%2090%20and%20200/Gated%20Customers/Warr_Svc_Support%20Plan/418532.html

I do ""not have permissions for that resource""...sigh.

@KennethPhillips has the issue nailed - you have PO receipt detail line that is corrupt. That line of code is in the delete routine and is checking to see if this is a regular inventory item and if it is then some additonal checking regarding the original PO line and/or some business with work order. I suspect that the line is already in the delete chain. Analyze and Relink then rebuild sorts should get you by the immediate issue. Would suggest that you re-initialize PO6 as soon as you can (i.e. when you have ALL receipts updated).

@JeffSchwenk - thanks for posting the link to the old knowledgebase - I did'nt know it was still accessable (it worked for me using IE 8!) Since I can't get into the new knowledgebase today I used it for a quick answer for a client. I'm sure it's not being updated - I'm not even sure if Sage knows we can get into it so nobody tell them! Alnoor - you never saw this :)

I think Alnoor would be the LAST person to ever say something to Sage..................
