Client moved MAS90 4.5.4 from a windows 2003 server to a windows 2008R2 server on another network and now they are getting GL_DailyPosting file missing messages. When we get in the file is gone and has to be re-initialized. This has happened 1 - 2 times each day in multiple companies since the move. Any ideas?

    1. Anti-Virus 2. Malware 3. User rights IT will deny all of these. Be sure if there are exclusions that these exclusions point to the new server, etc. Of course it could be other things but these are the first items that I'd check.

AV is my first choice, too. File gets deleted and recreated when posting, and sometimes an AV will let the deletion happen but not the creation.

I always give MAS 90 IT people this oldie but goodie. While it deals mainly with network speed issues, I also let them know that AV scans will play random havoc with MAS. Sometimes they listen, sometimes they don't.................

Need to have IT set the AV software to not subject the MAS90 folder to real time scans - they'll be happier with the performance as well as preventing stuff like this.
