Client is using 5.00.3 and wants each customer to have a revenue and cogs account assign at the customer level but then override the revenue and cogs account on each sales order/invoice which is created by them. Has someone already done this? Their chart of accounts is by customer and is extremely long.

Have a look at this -- seems that it allows for a sub account by customer. I think that will do part of the job for them, in that it will address the revenue . I also agree that somewhere in the near future the GL will be revamped because when you look at it now, it's close to 58,000 account numbers. Thanks Wayne.
