    Client is running Sage 100 Standard 4.50.4. There antivirus or virus removed the pvxwin32.exe from the production and copy (archive) we had on the same share. Of course there is backup. I have replaced the pvxwin32.exe from my 4.50.x. I now can only get one user in at a time. I have tried to activate the install again (Library Master - Setup - System Configuration and Activate ). This has not resolved. Any suggestions other than a new install? Do I restore at this point?

    Recommend restoring; sounds like another file(s) is missing.

    Replacing the Activate.pvx from an older install seems to be helping. I may wait if this solves and encourage an upgrade.

    What AV are they using? There was another thread about Webroot a couple weeks back, just wondering if we have another AV to worry about.

    I actually have had a couple issues with Webroot shutting Sage down (only on certain machines - very weird). It took a while to find. They are using Microsoft Essentials. Their IT guy is dismissing as a false positive and is not enchanted with the lack of tools in Microsoft Essentials. He had them setup a Malware Bytes installs (temporarily) and remove the other. I am not sure I agree with his quick dismissal. But there you go. Ownership of the company changes in a few weeks. We will see if in two months if they are a client but for now, they do not have the rights to spend money.

    OK. Temporarily solved the problem by replacing the Activate.pvx and it keeps rearing its ugly head. I am leaning towards a reinstall.
