    Client is on Sage 100 4.40 Standard. Getting this message during sales order invoice entry. Found nothing in the KB or via the Google. They won't allow remote access so I am going for a visit. Any thoughts other than the usual rebuilds? TIA. error 26 ci_commontierdistribution.pvc line 966

    Err 26 is usually when a field expected to have numeric-only contents has some alpha contents. As usual, check for recent changes on the system, including item-masks.

    Turns out the error 26 was a red herring. The problem was caused by an item they were trying to invoice but the CI_Item record was trashed. Used DFDM to fix up the record and all was good.

    I'm a sucker. What can I say. :) They are only about 10 minutes away and I was able to convince the owner it is time to do a long overdue upgrade.
