Client is on 2013 Advanced, Windows 2012 server, Windows 8 (or 8.1) workstations. Users have mapped drives to folders on a file server, which is where they store PDF copies of SOs (they don't ""print to Paperless Customer Viewer). Their process for storing Sales Orders is to select ""Export"" at the Printer selection in SO Printing. When they get to the screen to select a location, their mapped drives do not appear. They do appear, however when they launch the Windows Explorer or File Explorer (whatever it's called in Win8). Their workaround is to store them locally and then copy them to the network drive. Has anyone seen this in the environment described above? I'd say it's an IT thing, but it is only occurring when exporting from Sage 100. Thoughts?

Does this have to do with the account used to run the service on the server? Local vs domain admin. From what I recall it has to be domain admin or you don't see shares on other servers.

Hmmm, the domain admin is the account running the service.

I've posted Alnoor's mini white paper on using a properly configured account to run the service. Here it is again. Failure to follow it to the letter DOES result if weird crap happening..... https://90minds-com.socialcast.com/messages/20400621

Their IT guy put a shortcut on their desktop to the URL of the location to save before I had a chance to review all of this with him. But he thinks that perhaps putting those drive mappings on the profile of the owner of the service on the server may do it. If he tests it out, I'll report back.

All I know is if you DEVIATE from these instructions, freaky shXX WILL happen!!!!!!!!!!! I wrestled a PR DD issues to two months before the IT department fessed up that they did not follow the instructions EXACTLY. I should have sent them the bill for the $1,000 of wasted effort.
