Client is on 100 Adv v2016. CSR put a sales order on hold 7/20 and on 9/7 Shipping claims it was no longer on hold. Order was subsequently shipped and invoiced in error. Nobody will fess up. Customer is asking how to prove/disprove! I just want to confirm there is no type of logging software available that will identify the perp whether now or in the future? Lol!

You could use Alerts and Workflows to monitor future order status changes but I'm not aware of anything being captured directly in Sage 100 anywhere.

Sorry, @NancyHanson. We've had this same problem come up and customer had us write some logging tools because none exist.

Can you look at the user that last updated the Sales Order Header? Is there a backup from the day before the Invoice that may have this info?

@MichelleTaylor1 , that's a good idea. If you could get to the backup just before shipping, it would also tell you the time it was last updated, which would be useful.

That is a good idea @MichelleTaylor1 , I like the Alerts/Workflow too as they are constantly trying to find out who did what to an order, so would need to key in on several fields.

Related: I've been trying to think of how to use SAW to create a PO audit trail. What has anyone done? Have it write to a .txt log?
