    Client having issues with BIE views not loading, Sage shows up in the task bar but nothing further. It worked fine for months but quit on Monday. We have tried removing and re-installing the workstation setup, switching to classic desktop and back and still no luck. No error message, it just shows on the task bar and nothing else. If he logs in to Windows as administrator it works but IT swears they made no permission or system changes over the weekend. Windows update?? Sage 2016c Standard, any ideas would be appreciated.

    Anti - virus software? maybe logged in as admin it is not running or running differently? try disabling AV when logged in as the user to confirm or rule out AV

    Ended up being a screen resolution issue, he had changed the size from 100% to 125% and that was killing the BIE views. Closed Sage, changed it back to 100% and that fixed it.

    Interesting Bernie! It would also be interesting to see if BIE views fail on 2018 with the new Application Scaling feature of the Standard Desktop (newer Launcher). The default scaling is called 'Default' but can be increased to Medium, Large, or Extra Large. On a recent webinar / demo using 2018 (which is dangerous in itself), I increased scaling to Medium and it made viewing nice for everyone. BIE views worked too with Default and Medium scaling. But I'm curious Large and Extra Large work too. They are grayed out for me b/c laptop screen res is not high enough. I have this feeling @NicoleRonchetti would be intrigued enough to test it :) #2018pioneer

    You know I'm at a loss with the BIE views when it comes to the new (standard) launcher. Sometimes it works on my machine and sometimes it doesn't. I really can't come to any rhyme or reason. For now I just stick with the classic launcher still when doing demos for existing Sage 100 users - if I know its a prospect I try and demo the new launcher unless I know I'll have to demo an explorer view for some reason. Right now my explorer views seem to be working with either the classic or standard desktop. I tried to ""break"" it but it works no matter what I set the screen resolution to or the application scaling. Thanks Sage for the inconsistencies! (insert eyeroll emoji here)
