Client has Sage 100 std 4.5 with Starship 16.2. Setting up a workstation that has been reformatted and with a fresh install of windows. Sage 100 installs and runs fine. Starship installs but cannot access MAS data. Starship support ran OITest - it failed - they are telling me I have a Sage problem. Other workstations can run OITest fine, allow external access is enabled. It will only not work from this computer. Help..

I had something very similar happen to me in v2014 with V-Tech Ship Gear. The issue then was that there was a need to have a service Role setup in Sage that the connection with Ship Gear used. Hope this helps.

I have never had to do anything like that on any workstation, installing the Starship client normally just works. We are not using the their Interface Server. Why is OITest failing on just this one workstation?

From that workstation, can you use Excel to access the SOTAMAS90 database via a Microsoft Query?

Running pvxcom.exe & regcom.bat (got them from my 4.1 installation) fixed OITest. No idea what was actually wrong.
