    Client has been using a Crystal report for years and now suddenly getting the attached error while selecting the calendar button to select a date. Any ideas? Nothing has changed and it worked last week (it's a weekly report). :

    You have to install SP6 for Crystal XI on the workstation. Do they have Crystal XI installed already?

    Copy the attached file to C:\Program Files (x86)\Business Objects\Common\3.5\crystalreportviewers115\prompting\js. (Make a copy of the original one first to be on the safe side).

    I've used @JohnLeonard's solution a couple of times. It works great. Also, much easier than downloading and installing the patch, especially if this is the only issue/complaint.

    Thanks @JohnLeonard ! I've been meaning to find this the last few days but just didn't get around to it.

    I always love when a USER (4 letter word and our best friends) say ""Nothing has changed."" Something has always changed as it is not working, the question is always what! Something got corrupted, a ""windows update"" happened all by itself, etc... Something

    I recommend just using the .js file as @JohnLeonard posted rather than the service pack as I have seen the service pack cause more problems than it fixed. Does the client have any other apps that use Crystal? Sometimes an update to one of those will disrupt the MAS Crystal.

    It I a Java update that either fixes it or breaks it. The fix is similar to copying the CRPE from the Bin folder, but naturally I am not finding. Give me a few more minutes. I have done it here three times; you'd think I would remember!!! I hate getting old....I hate it, I hate it, I hate it!!!

    So @JohnLeonard this needs to be installed on the Users workstation - right?

    @DebThomas Correct.

    This is what worked on all the Win7 workstations at the client I am currently sitting...it's actually the same fix you've seen before. Copy the CRPE32.dll from the C:\Program Files x86\Business Objects\Common\3.5 to (either) the Windows\System32 or SysWOW64 directory.

    I agree with @GaryFeldman something did happen. My be is that they installed designer on that workstation which broke the date logic. That happens to me everytime.

    Fyi, that .js fix/file gets copied into one of two locations depending if your operating system is 32-bit or 64-bit: 32-bit = 'C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Common\3.5\crystalreportviewers115\prompting\js\' (or for 64-bit 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Business Objects\Common\3.5\crystalreportviewers115\prompting\js\' ) Also can be found on Evernote: https://www.evernote.com/pub/mas90guru/sage100/#b=2fd724e9-a1f1-42bc-adc0-2b446645c6e8&st=p&x=calendar&n=4b183030-97a6-4088-b894-e9b0830e4e33
