Sage 100

Client has 4.4 Sage 100/MAS 200/not EES. We are attempting to install Sage CRM 7.0, but cannot see any way to add CRM to the Sage 100 main menu. Has anyone figured this out?

It's been a while since I've done it myself but ... don't you need to install the integration piece for that to work?

Exactly, that is what we are trying to figure out as it is not documented anywhere we can find.

I did this for a customer on 4.5 and i believe it was a re-enter keys and select to install Sage CRM Integration on the Sage 100 menu. I don't know if that's the same for v4.4.

You install it from your Sage 100 install CD, it's a module just like GL or AP

@BarbaraOlson has it always been there or did Sage add it in at a certain version? Otherwise I agree with you. If Leonard's not seeing it then maybe Sage didn't add the integrated install until a later version.

It's my understanding that it's in the Sage 100 installer CD for 4.4. It's been a while for that version so I might be wrong.

I just double-checked 4.4, that version was still divided between EES and regular MAS. So it is not on the CD. Sorry about that, I was thinking it was on the CD for 4.4

Where oh where did they hide it then? Is it a separate .exe on the CD?

Must have been a separate download, or you were given the EES CD maybe when you bought CRM? I don't recall.

In 4.4 it was only part of EES, which was a separate CD.

Could it have crept in on a 4.4 PU?

@PhilMcIntosh Are you saying that if the client didn't purchase EES, they didn't get CRM? (Not saying you are wrong ... just asking for clarification)

That was my understanding. 4.5 was where they merged the code bases and gave everyone a single user CRM

That makes sense ... most of our installs have been 4.5, 5.0 or EES 4.4.

Correct, EES is what holds the Integration. It's included at 4.50. 4.40 NON-EES will not work.
