Client can export to Excel via Lookup Excel button, but Excel Option is greyed out in Explore Views. How can that happen? Windows 7 and Excel 2010 are 64-bit, Sage 100 v2014. Tried copying Excel.exe file into the Office14 folder that didn't have it. Installed 64-bit ODBC driver, still the same results.

Try 32 Bit Excel, I had same issue and that resolved it.

There is a patch on the portal that resolves this.

Unfortunately, they bought the Office Pro package which means un-installing all Office products and re-install all as 32-bit. Not something they want to do for all their workstations when Sage docs say 64-bit is approved.

Search this - Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel are dimmed (unavailable) on the Export Options menu in Business Insights Explorer There is a newer ExApp.exe at the bottom of the article - put it on their local PC under C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Sage\Common Components)

@JohnnyPabian found the article and will give it a try. Thanks. I will update here with results. Sometimes I think the new Sage portal search gives different answers with the same search on different days.

@JohnnyPabian Thanks, that fixed it after giving Full Control to the Sage folder in that path.
