Classic and Standard User Interface

    Does anyone have a list of the differences between the Classic and Standard user interface?  I am doing a training session tomorrow afternoon for a company upgrading from 2017 to 2020.

    Lead off with the ability to change the default font size within the launcher (Boomers lover that feature).  Standard hides the menu options if you don't have role access.  Everyone loves the look of MSFT office.  Change your display colors (though some people go overboard).  I also think you can sort the menu.

    I'm sure that you are preparing to train everyone on standard but just to clarify - starting with 2020+ it's only the Standard menu that is available.

    Yes, @Wayne Schulz  I will be training on 2020 using the Standard UI.  Interesting you mention that the Standard UI is only available in 2020+ and Classic is no longer an option.  I was looking at my v2020 installation of the video that @Kevin Moyes mentioned and the first "feature" they mention is the Home Tab, Change User Settings, and how you can change between the Classic and the Standard UI.  LOL... um... that feature doesn't exist.  Time to update the video!

    Here is a question along those lines.  Company on v2019.  Users do not have access to change their settings to standard.  Where is the setting for the Administrator to change it for them.  I have looked high and low.  TIA

    Log on to the user's computer with any Sage 100 user that has rights and you can change it.  The setting is by computer not by user.
