If you have a standard valuation item and change it's standard cost, the Total Value field in CI_Item does not recalculate (making it worthless).  I have a LOT of people using that in lookups in Item Maintenance - this is a major bummer.  (I tested this on 2019.2)

Shot in the dark, but did you update the std cost change register? Did the valuation and TB report reflect the new cost?

The inventory trial balance can be printed using either the historical cost (transaction cost) or the current standard cost.

I know, but a lot of clients like to see this in the lookup.  Since Sage took away so many fields when they changed to 12 month history files and always open periods, this was the one thing people could still get in a lookup.

I sense no one is getting my point - I do not want a client to have to run a utility each and every time they change the standard costs...  If there is a utility, then pack it into the end of the Standard Cost Change Register and be done with it.

And... it should be correct in the first place.  Client uses Standard cost for everything and changes happen frequently.  (I KNOW it would seem then WHY USE STANDARD, but owner includes OH in standard cost.)
