Trying to rebuild IM sort files.  Encounter error below.

I have rebooted server, shut off CSODBC service, Sage service, Sage advisor update service, Sage Alerts service, the Certipro ISS.  Then launched in M90 mode and still get the error message.  Have opened server management and there are no open files.

How does one identify the bad boy task?  Could there be a rogue table record in Sage being the culprit?

I would shut down every workstation and then see if there are any Sage 100 processes running on the server.

Have you reviewed (and removed) the files in the LOCK folder?

If I would have MENTIONED Scanco MB was installed, would this have elicited a different response?  If so, my bad!!

Culprit was the MB installation.  Having that installed gives you the above message when trying to rebuild IM sort files.

Scanco's Multi-Bin Recalculate Quantity Allocated has a secondary function of rebulding the sort keys.

A cruel pull my finger trick that I fall for once a year!!!!!!
