Channel Partner Tier Dashboard Has anyone been able to make that work? I get no data and no obvious buttons that do anything. I suppose there's an on-line class. Of course, it is part of the Portal - one of @RobertWood 's favorite Sage tools.

I've found it useful to organize and view upcoming renewal notices. Unfortunately, it doesn't fix the biggest problem which is pricing renewals.

Have you passed that certification??? Perhaps you need your clients to give you access to their sales so that they appear on the portal.....

But are you a Portal Manager? Somehow, Sage successfully selected the right people in our office for Portal Manager status and said if there were questions (I assume meaning add/remove rights) to email partnerprograms@sage.com.

Ah! You have to click on Refresh to get data to appear! Success!

Yeah, I think I'm also the Portal Manager. I tell people to just click on buttons until something happens or there's an error. Then call Portal Support.

Both options are a great strategy for a software consultant!

OK, got a PDF report with all my numbers, so I must qualify as an expert now.

The Portal is dead to me! Though it was interesting to see that my password still worked earlier today.

I love that Sage used pop-up windows on their portal. it clearly shows you that nearly everyone involved was an academic MBA who had not used or participated in any real world technology projects. (Note: Pop-ups are automatically blocked by just about every browser built since 2004).

Maybe this is a good topic for a training session at the next 90 Minds meeting... How to use the Sage Portal and Partner Dashboard.

And who would lead this session @GaryFeldman ??? @RobertWood ???

It would be an hour on trying to figure out which browser to use and waiting.

After watching his commencement speech, @RobertWood is the obvious choice.

My advice on use of sage portal... Log in using IE or whatever browser you choose NOT to use. Login to Social Cast and utilize links on upper right hand side of 90 Minds group page.

Portal admin, couldn't get past the SAP login. Got that fixed. Now being blocked by the pop up blocker errors...

I bet we could get some from sage to do a webinar on it

@JimWoodhead - Great idea. I could see high level of participation. Would want a top demonstrator doing the webinar and not just another stick to the script reader....

You can submit questions to the live instructor via chat only or used pre-prepared questions made to make Sage look good.

Or like Portal support where they ask questions, agree to look at it, and send a follow up e-mail that says ""OK, it's fixed - please try it and let us know if you have any more problems."" Except they never tell you exactly what the issue was. (I imagine they say ""Oops!"" a lot in Portal support.)

How about we arrange for a webinar where we explain to the Sage portal people what a portal is supposed to do/be??? They don't appear to have a clue...
