Changing the detail line Extension leaves UnitCost alone in SO but NOT in PO!!! Environment: Sage 100 4.5 Purchase Order UDS on the Column Post-Validate event of Quantity Ordered - A SetValue on the ExtensionAmt field forces the UnitCost field to the quotient of ExtensionAmt over the Quantity Ordered. However Sales Order doesn't work in the same maner. There, the UnitCost doesn't change when a SetValue is done on the ExtensionAmt. Is this WAD? Is there a way to make PO work the same as SO?

One consideration in SO is the setting for ""Line Item Discount Pct"". If that is unchecked, then changing the extended price in SO will change the unit price, like PO.

Thanks Clark, I was concerned with ""cost"" not price. Do you know if it works with""cost"" the same?
