If a client wants to switch to Advanced from Standard, as part of an ugprade, and of course there will their production version on Standard, and the test upgrade on Advanced, is there an issue with:

a) getting Sage to issue Advanced keys (while production is still running Standard

b) is there an issue installing Advanced as part of the test upgrade while production is still running Standard?

I don't think so. From memory, the issue is when you try to INSTALL from the CD it will automatically only pull Advanced ( if you have Advanced keys ).

Depending on how far back they are coming there may be issues with

• New Paperless Office driver
• Crystal Runtime

I'm working on a customer coming from 2016 to 2020 and I had forgotten what a nightmare it was to try to test anything with both 2016 and 2020 on the same workstation due to problems with updated paperless drivers and the crystal runtime incompatibility.
