  • 1.  Certipro eLink with Sage 100 30 Character Inventory

    Is anyone using Cetipro's eLink integration to Magento with Sage 100 30 character item codes?  I was just informed that eLink isn't compatible with 30 character inventory and that there would be 8 hours of development plus project management, testing etc to get it working.  I'm surprised by this considering 30 character inventory is off-the-shelf Sage 100.

    Nothing in their scope document, nor was it ever mentioned in demo or testing (6 months now).  
    Who claims it is not supported?  Simon? Nic?

    I'd push back really hard at anyone saying that it's a "customization" to support Sage 100's official field sizes.  The data dictionary clearly lists ItemCode as 30 digits.

    Good News.  Certipro has agreed that the Sage 100 30 character item code will be included as part of the annual maintenance.  It will be free of charge.  According to Certipro, although Sage 100 supports 30 character item codes, Certipro needs to update their package on Magento and apply the changes to the live system.  Whatever works, as long as it's supported and included in the annual maintenance!
