    Certain ACA filing requirements delayed - Responding to pleas from a handful of major trade and industry associations, the Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service yesterday delayed these requirements. Specifically, in Notice 2016-4, the regulators extended the deadlines: For furnishing to individuals the 2015 Form 1095-B, Health Coverage, and the 2015 Form 1095-C, Employer-Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage, from February 1, 2016, to March 31, 2016, and For filing with the Service the 2015 Form 1094-B, Transmittal of Health Coverage Information Returns, the 2015 Form 1095-B, Health Coverage, the 2015 Form 1094-C, Transmittal of Employer-Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage Information Returns, and the 2015 Form 1095-C, Employer-Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage, from February 29, 2016, to May 31, 2016, if not filing electronically, and from March 31, 2016, to June 30, 2016 if filing electronically. - See more at: http://www.natlawreview.com/article/notice-2016-4-postpones-reporting-and-filing-deadlines-affordable-care-act-s#sthash.sd2WijtI.dpuf http://www.natlawreview.com/article/notice-2016-4-postpones-reporting-and-filing-deadlines-affordable-care-act-s

    I still am expecting at least one surprise call from someone who didn't know they were supposed to do anything with ACA reporting.

    I got a call today from a seldom heard from client. ""I turned on perpetual check history last year so that's all I need to do for ACA, right?"" Sigh. I can't tell you how many emails I sent out warning everyone.
