  • 1.  Cash Receipts Report Doesn't Include Deposit Type A

    The end user wants to know why the AR cash receipts Report is not accurate.  They have a custom report that lists the monthly cash receipts in a format the like.  The report reads the AR_CashReceiptsHistory table.  I reconciled the two reports and discovered that when the DepositType is A the cash receipt doesn't appear on the standard cash receipts report.  Does anyone know why?  

    I understand there is a Deposit Transaction report that contains ACH transactions. Is there one report that lists all of the cash receipts, checks and ACH?  Sure would be nice to have one report that agrees to the debits to cash in the general ledger... you know like a real accounting system.

    Exactly @Jeff Schwenk  Any cash receipt from a payment processor doesn't appear on the cash receipts report.  Quite strange.

    I think that is a separate table.  If they are on premium, you could create a SQL table to combine the two.  Then create your Crystal.  Maybe use an Access Select query if not SQL.

    And while we are dreaming, is it me or does the cash receipts history report NOT include the comment line from cash receipts posting?  Also, is it me or is the invoice DATE not part of the history table??  In the past, I've added UDF's to the history table.

    Again, just dreaming.  I doubt this is even close to reality
