Are you referring to the line items in a given receipt/deposit, or the actual deposits at the header level?  If the lines, can you leverage the LineKey or LineSeq?  Or maybe create a line UDF to control the sort.  If at header, maybe you can use Time/Date Created and/or have the user specify some kind of value somewhere on the batch/deposit screen for controlling the sort.

Thanks Brett.  Last resort is creating a custom report and that seems like that where this is headed.  

Frustrating because the reason the cash receipt journal needs to be printed before you pop dating my is so the data input can be reviewed.  If there are a hundred checks and the journal doesn't print in the order the checks were entered then it couldn't be more inefficient checking the work.  The most efficient method is printing the same order the data was entered.

Am surprised that this has never come up before.  Makes perfectly good sense to have an option to print based on entry order.
