Sage 100

Client had some bonuses in Jan and did TWO reversals on one payment (paid the employee, reversed, paid employee again, reversed new check, paid third time).  Didn't use the cute little reversal icon, so everything was all forked over.  (Check amount was 195,000, but by the 2nd reversal the system was calculating the Additional Medicare, etc, etc - had negative gross wages for the month, etc)

I manually cleaned it up EXCEPT the FUTA and SUTA wages are still whacked.  They show up as a huge negative on the Capped Wages tab.
I looked at the other employee who also got a huge bonus and his gross wages and FUTA/SUTA wages all show the same on the Detail screen, then just up to the limit on the Capped screen.  This other poor schmuck shows gross on the Detail screen but a mess on the Capped Wages and I can't figure out where to modify.  Would have figured that Capped Wages was just displaying the same data from Detail but with caps in place, but apparently not.

Any ideas?

Did you drill into the detail?  So on the Tax Summary window, click the Detail button.  Then click the Tax History Detail icon on the right side of the window.  Then click the Hide/Show Capped Wages (Alt-S) icon on the right side of the window.  There you can use the FIX button to override amounts.

@Beth Bowers If you correct (use the Fix button) in the drill down Detail screen, it will change the tables and reflect in the payroll screens, else the screen don't update.  ​

I just came across this same problem on the capped wages being off yesterday. In my case, the client had sent the Q1 TX UC report and it was rejected
because the detail totals did not match. She had one employee in Feb where she issued a check, voided and re-issued, and for whatever reason,
it did not capture the wages to Q1 it put it in Q2 for capped wages. Like @Beth Bowers, I looked all over with DFDM and could not find it.  ​When I saw this post I thought man I am screwed when I saw Beth couldn't find it either. LOL. Great group! Thanks.

@Kelly Sappington - so glad you posted this because I just had a client with a rejected TN UT form for mismatched wages and I hadn't even started digging yet, but now I know what to zero in on!  Funny how I couldn't make that connection between my clients on my own....  DOH.​
