    Can't find my notes! I need to re-activate a client's system. I know I need to backup two items, one is the home folder (Ithink) and the other is a file. What do I back up to cover my ass? Thanks.

    Usually if I'm activating a new key I just take copies of the old keys. Could one of the files be the activate.pvx in ..\home\launcher?

    When in doubt, back up the entire MAS folder. Are you just changing the keys as Wayne indicates? If so, I don't even make a copy of the key. If the keys don't activate, the old ones are returned.

    In 4.40 forward, the file is MAS_SYSTEM/SY_SYSTEM.M4T - keys are visible in DFDM

    Thank you. You never know when re-activating might blow everything up!
