So if the website says they have a 64 bit for the software, it might be time for the client to update the software to a current version. To paraphrase Nancy Reagan, "Just say no to supporting 32-bit software"

Doug,
Was that an Advanced system with CS-ODBC? I'd imagine that might have problems with architecture mismatch, but ODBC should be completely independent of the system architecture. You can absolutely use a 64-bit ODBC query against a 32-bit system (we do that all the time, for the past decade), and I can't see why the other way would be any different.
BOI, the architecture needs to match for sure, but not ODBC.

If there was a 32-bit app that used the Sage 32-bit ODBC driver to access Sage 100 and Sage 100 was set to 64 bit then I am reasonably certain the ODBC connection will fail. Iv'e tried to work around these driver / bit issues with Bartender and the only way I could get the ODBC integration to work was to have the same "bit" versions of both the app, Sage 100, and the ProvideX driver. If you don;t need the ODBC integration between Sage and the app then it's a different issue, and maybe a different solution.

On my laptop running 2023 64 bit, there is a 32 bit ODBC driver. I installed 2023 as 64 bit, so looks like both get installed.

Oh, so it may be possible to run a 32-bit workstation with 64-bit server? Interesting, I'll have to try that. I'm reaching back out to IT. The program they use is LabelView, and their website says it supports 64-bit.

First try to install the 64-bit workstation, which might include the 32-bit ODBC driver.
Otherwise I think you'd have to change the server to 32-bit, install the workstation, then change back.
(Or just copy a bare-bones Standard MAS90 folder to the machine and install the workstation from that...).
