Can you have an rdp connection to a client that will allow creation of paperless office journals and register pdfs and allow you to print locally? I've been told it's either one or the other but I've not given up on having both.

Locally to the client, or locally to your desktop? Depending on your RDP connection settings and the client's security, you may be able to see your local printers redirected into the client's desktop. Then you should be able to print from the client's Acrobat reader to your redirected printers. Maybe I'm not following the question...

In my experience, if the local PC has a Sage PDF Converter listed as a printer, then you cannot see local printers and still get Paperless Office to work.. If you delete the local Sage PDF Converter, then you should be fine

I have an local archive copy of Sage 100 that has our data prior to moving the invoice process from Time and Billing Professional to A/R and moving the whole system to a remote server. I still occasionally print preview then export to pdf file those TB invoices. I don't use it for data entry so I could turn off paperless office locally. Don't know if then removing the pdf converter would still allow me to export to pdf files as I have Acrobat installed.

When you preview an invoice and click export to PDF, it's using the Crystal runtime, not Sage PDF Converter so you should be safe to delete Sage PDF Converter locally
