  • 1.  Can v2020 Advanced be installed on a server running v2019 Standard without affecting 2019 users?

    We are installing v2020 Advanced and upgrading a client from 2019 Standard, so there's a platform change, as well.  There is a Pilot phase prior to Go Live.  Typically, we require the client to provide a test workstation and we don't run wksetup on the server until Go Live.  I'm not sure if that's necessary in this scenario.  This is the first time I'm upgrading a client and doing a platform change at the same time.    Shall I stick with our plan,or will it be "safe" to install 2020 workstation on the server without impacting users in 2019?

    The Crystal Reports patch (affecting printing) was in v2018, and the new Amyuni driver (affecting Paperless) was in v2019... so those two issues should be fine.

    I think you're ok but tell them to double-check one workstation before you do a bunch.
