  • 1.  Can UDT be copied from one company to another without VI?

    Had a customer use SVTRNA to copy basic data. While this is an ok utility it really only gets most companies part way to where they want to be.

    One item I noticed that doesn't copy is User Defined Tables ( UDT ).
    The structure is there but the values don't carry from one company code to another

    Is there a way to copy these without using VI or do I have to scope out a VI project here?

    I have used windows explorer to copy UDT's in the past.  Usually I've done this when we populate it in a test company then move it to live.  I've never ran into a problem doing that.
