Can anyone recommend a time tracking solution for MAS90? I have a client in the Medical Trials business, tracking employee time. Thanks in advance.

What type of tracking, integration are you looking for? Just to PR? I have several on time clock

Timesheet by SAGE .... ( Actually Wayne reported today that they gave it to Insperity ) http://erplife.com/2012/11/12/sage-trades-timesheets-to-insperity-inc-for-endorsement-and-unspecified-compensation/. Also Timeforce.

Timesheet includes Timecard and VI in the bundle or atleast it did. The other one Timeforce can do either.

Just looked at solution from JDB Solutions Group for WO scanning. It contains an HR solution for tracking general time as well as production time. We have also used Timeclock Plus in the past though we haven't done one in a while.

Interface would be to GL only, they don't have PR. I initially thought of TimeSlips as I have many Accounting firms using that.

So they want something to do billings? How many employees? Any remote? I think Timeslips has a web based product.

No billings, it is a medical trial testing new medical devices for FDA approval. Just tracking time of employees administering the testing.

Not sure about any numbers yet, it is a potential acquisition and they are just in the beginning stages.

TimeSheets is likely worth a look. As it used Visual Integrator to get to PR, you should be able to put data anywhere you want. NF accounts. It will be interesting to see if Sage 100 Visual Integrator is still part of the product from Insperity.

    Dare I mention Timecard?

as of last week. the bundle included Timecard and a limited version of VI. Now?? who knows.....

They do have VI already so TimeSheets may be the way to go.

Good luck to you if you go the Timesheet route - you'll likely be in no-mans land as Sage just offloaded this. Who knows if the new company has developers to handle/update it or if they primarily purchased the customer list.

@WayneSchulz I have to second your concern. On the pro side, we have worked with Insperity (Previously known as Galaxy) for years and move a lot of their time and attendance product (called TimeStar) in our Abra practice. (Typically 6 to 8 systems per year). They have always been good to work with. Two points on the con side; 1) it will be a new product for Insperity to pick up and support, especially with a Sage 100 interface, and 2) our experience with Timesheet in the past has not been a positive one. I don't have any personal experience but I offered it up as an option in an internal meeting for an Abra / MAS 500 opportunity once. The faces of our HRMS team members went ashen! A couple of them had worked with it in the past and they didn't want any part of another go-around.

Well that doesn't sound promising. What about Timeslips? Has anyone built a GL integration using VI?

I've been using Timeslips with a VI import to MAS for 12 years now. Works very smoothly.

let me know if you need to talk with a TS dealer. I have one in Iowa that has helped me quite a bit.

@JeffSchwenk that sounds like it might be the best idea. How much are you able to import into MAS? And yes I would like your Timeslips dealer's number.

Greg: We (Oasis) also have a product called Empower. EmpowerTime integrates with Sage 100 Payroll and is a comprehensive time keeping solution that tracks employees time using either WebEntry or Time Clocks. The web entry can be configured as simple or as complicated as needed. If you would like more information let me know and I will have someone get in touch.

@PamScott, they are not using MAS payroll and really only want to integrate with GL. I am thinking TimeSlips may be the way to go. Will be talking with them next week. Thanks everyone for the excellent advice, I really appreciate it.

Has anyone found any other alternatives to Timesheet that they can recommend? We have a client who is ready to move off of timesheets to something else...
