can anyone help me clarify licensing for Sage Intelligence. If a client has multiple users that are going to design and run SI reports, will they require a report manager and designer license for each user/workstation?

They will need a Report Manager for each workstation. The designer license is a site license. You only need one.

Depending on the number of users that require design rights and needing Report Manager, it will probably be more economical to consider the SI bundle based on number of companies. It includes unlimited Report Managers and Report Viewers plus the Designer and Connector modules. When Designer was not included with Business Care, it was an even better deal, but it doesn't take many users to justify it. Also, when dealing with the unlimited users parameter, the customer doesn't need to be concerned with who has a license and who doesn't. BTW, anything more than financials without consolidations requires the Connector, so I include it or the bundle with all new systems.

thanks @JohnHoyt and @JimWoodhead -to further clarify - do they need additional report managers if they have several companies (to clarify, client is on 100c, they got 1 report manager and 1 designer as part of their business care, they added the connector for consolidations.). they have 2 users that need to create/design reports and create consolidations for 3 companies in sage. based on this scenario - can they just add another report manager or do they need report manager licenses for each company?

Report Manager licenses are good for multiple companies. In this case, they should just add a Report Manager - much less than going with the bundle.
