Can anyone confirm that the MAS90 Office button in Job Cost maintenance works with Word and Excel 2010 in V4.4 or V4.5

Was just about to test this but then realized you mentioned 2010, which I'm not running. Sorry.

Looks like MAS doesn't support WIN 7 64 bit export to word or excel. that is a killer!!

Are you talking only about in Job Cost? Using the Office button to export to 2010 Word in S/O appears to work on my Win 7 64-Bit workstation in 4.5.

Yes our client have some 4.2 excel exports in Job Cost. They are looking to upgrade to 4.5. The upgrade also includes WIN7 64 bit and office 2010.

Looks like the button is broken for JC (legacy modules) But I tend to think it is because of Office 2007/2010. On my WIN 7 64 running Office 2010 (32 bit), I can generate canned templates in AR via Word. However, I cannot generate them from PR or JC on that machine. When I switch ws to Server 2003 running Office 2007, I cannot run it eithe for PR or JC. Below are the error messages. Geez, just think, this has been a problem for 4 plus years now (since Office 2007) and it still isn't fixed. Jim, you client must be the only user taking advantage of this ""valuable"" function............

Why Sage left that in is a mystery. Once asked one guys I know in tech support about it and he was surprised it was still there. He said it was old technology that Microsoft no longer supports so nothing has been done with it. Basically if you click the button and it works, fine, if not you are not going to get support.
