Came across a new error message converting crw report on v4.5. When I run MASCRCW.exe I received a message. ""Failure: A minimum Crystal print engine version of 11.5.0.0 is required for conversion (found 8.5.217.0)"" I am on a WIN 2003 32 bit server. I have installed the wksetup and installed crystal but it doesn't seem to see the crystal. Anyone else seen this? #MASCRCW

Are you logged into MAS when firing up the program?

I just had this on a 4.50 --- trying to remember what I did but think I had to install the full Crystal 11.5 with administrative rights, do the reboot of Crystal install -- before I could get it to work.

Any updated info on this?

I believe I ended up converting from another workstation. I think Wayne had the right fix. It had do with installation with elevated rights.

Resolution is to simply copy the CRPE32.DLL file from C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Common\3.5\Bin\ into the C:\Windows\System32\ folder.

They havne't touched mascrcw.exe for the longest time (just the mascrcw.ini changes every version).
