Sage 100

**CadLink from QBuild** Has anyone worked with, seen, or have any feedback on a product called CadLink from QBuild? It is a product that creates a synch between various CAD & ERP systems (including Sage 100). We have recently had a number of Sage 100 customers looking to automate the creation of BOMs from CAD systems like SolidWorks or Altium and doing it with VI has always been a stretch.

No but I've had this request before and it has led people to migrate away from Sage 100.

We have just had QBuild demonstrate this to a new prospect this week. The ""link"" will create all new inventory items in Sage 100 with a ""dummy"" Product Line. It will still require someone to go back to those newly created items and a) update the product line b) update all the fields that default in with a product line (like Unit of Measure) and c) add cost, add prices, add primary vendor. etc. etc. etc. It does a nice job creating the BOM. Some things to keep in mind. The person that will ""link"" the data from the CAD Software to Sage needs to have a full license of the CAD Software. The CAD Drawing needs to be open on the screen when the Link is evoked.
