C-Line Orders Sage now requires the address and contact information completed on the order forms. During last quarter when they were so slow to respond and there was limited time to work on these upgrade orders, I only entered the customer name and account number, and it seemed to be sufficient. It is already a manual process and the time taken to complete all of this takes away from other tasks that contribute to Sage. Ultimately this needs to be an order driven by an entry on the portal based on the account number or name. When our customers enter a sales order or invoice into Sage 100/100c, they only need to enter a customer number.

Not only that. Ask Sage 2x for a quote for the same customer - get 2 different prices. I had one migration quote where I asked Sage to remove the crammed SI reporting licenses that have been secretly added to some user's maintenance. Guess what? Instead of the price coming down or even staying the same - it went up. Sage muttered about some issue with grandfathered users vs regular users. This is complete BS and if not unethical it is borderline. Shame on Sage. Shame on Sage's ever changing management whose only way to show growth is through never ending price increases. And shame on us for putting up with it.
