Thanks David. That's great information and it gets me most of the way to the solution. As you mentioned, there aren't any role permissions, so users can seemingly modify the views if they can run them. For example, the customer likes the Open PO by Vendor Name View, however, they don't want employees to see the information for the five vendors that are company shareholders. We can filter out the five vendors / shareholders from the view but there doesn't seem to be a way to prevent a user from changing the filter.

You can select the preferred view setting, click File, and then click Default Setting For All Users.
Alternatively, you can make a backup copy of the default.ev file under MAS90\BIExplorer\Views\[view name], then rename your view file to default.ev.
I don't believe there is any way to control access to views like with Roles in Sage 100 and trying to use NTFS permissions to deny access to the default.ev caused BIE to be unresponsive even when another view was marked as default.
