As I was reading this I thought it was old - though perhaps not widely announced - news. I also wonder whether Global Software actually received the list of users or as Jim suggests they more likely were sending to their last known list of users - perhaps from a time when Sage allowed customers to register directly with Global? And with Sage on a telemarketing kick for add-ons - I'm not sure how much I'd push for Business Alerts unless the customer was deeply in love with the functionality.

BA has been a workhorse for a number of our clients. At least one has received a message from Sage that indicates they can try KS for free until their next normal BA aniverserary. In their case, they have about 9 months to evaluate and I strongly urged them to take advantage of it. The thing from Global seemed to want us to know they are putting resources into updating the product. Bet the Sage divorce was a bit of a wake up call.
