Buddy Press Themes to review Please choose your top two favorites and post it in this thread. Our next meeting is February 1, 2018.

Social Portfolio is my fave, though I wasn't able to test drive the Forums. I also liked BuddyBoss, but there I noticed that Forum activity doesn't appear in Site-wide Activity, which would be a deal-killer (at least for me).

I liked Social Portfolio as well.

I think that behavior of BuddyBoss could be changed.

Also, any theme we select will likely need customization.

Better to customize than be stuck in a box with duct taped lid, like we have now.

But duct tape comes in all kinds of colors nowadays :)

I think I prefer Social Portfolio as well. The LearnDash capabilities might be good, but can we make that just the educational part and not the whole thing?

Okay we have the Social Portfolio version purchased, downloaded, and will get a prototype started. Thanks to all that voted.

@RobertWood, added a post, sent a notice to all, and I can't seem to add a group, but I did send a request to join.

So, I got an email from buddypress saying Moira had requested to join a group I am admin of. I clicked on the ""go here to manage this and all other requests"", but I don't see the request anywhere. I types Moira's name into the add new members textbox and moira-admin came up. Can you get in now @MoiraGoggin ?

@PhilMcIntosh the only 'notice' I had was to 'update' a plug-in for Akismet.
