Browsing for VI Import source file on one workstation causes ""Sage 100 has stopped working"". Problem details show event name: APPCRASH, application name: pvxwin32.exe. Sage 100 Advance v2016 SP3. IT guys already tried reinstalling workstation setup with no luck.

Try running it in 90 Mode?

I ran into a similar issue with not being able to search from the source file field. The program would just kick out of the VI job with no error. I used windows explorer to copy and paste the file name into the field instead. Did not determine the cause and it was a one-off event. 2015 version.

Bringing this topic back to the front. We think a windows 10 update may be causing the browse function to crash. Client used to be able to look for a file to import using mapped drives. Now the program no longer shows the mapped drives when clicking the lookup. Or the vi program crashes altogether. We have had both happen.
