One of the items on our agenda for tomorrow is the 90 Minds Budget. I have noodled around the budget Moira drafted into a form that I think highlights the "dials" that we have to jiggle. The numbers are the same. (Well, almost. I lost $375 somewhere ..)
Moira's original presentation is tab1 and my rearrangement is the second tab. I put the elements I thought as as sort of fixed into the first part, ending in "Base Gross Profit". This shows we make not quite $4k in simple ops. (The only element I modified is the QB Merch Fees which I allocated against revenue streams.)
The second section shows the result of explicit choices we make about in-person BOD meetings and marketing. In Marketing I include promo elements and Conferences, such as Sage Summit. My sense is that we should ballpark what our ROI on these investments should be.
Third, we have our MOTM and Academy contributions. Is something wrong with the MOTM, because we should show a profit on that?
