Board meeting Dates and Times (2)

    Rather than post to the old thread (but it's here if you need it ) I wanted to start a fresh post of the 2019 Board Meeting Schedule especially the in-person meetings.

    The in-person board meetings would be:
    Feb. 28 7:00 - 8:00 am at Breakfast Sheraton San Diego
    May 12 at Sage Summit Atlanta
    September 6th - 8th or 8th to 10th location TBD

    Note the May meeting moved to April and was held in Austin.

    We need to begin planning for the September meeting and confirm that the dates of Sept 6-8 or 8 -10 are workable for the new board members too.

    It sounds like the period around 9/7 will work for all. Moira and I are meeting Tues pm to outline the goals of that 1 1/2 days together.

    @Jerry Norman and I meet today and we need to confirm the dates AND the location.  Please post your date preference and then rank in order of 1 - 3 with 1 being the hightest and 3 being the lowest your preference of location: 

    Phoenix, AZ
    Denver, CO
    Las Vegas, NV

    The dates again are Sept. 6th - 8th or Sept 8th to 10th. 
    Fly in on Friday the 6th meet for dinner, then full day meeting on Saturday the 7th and 1/2 day meeting on Sunday the 8th.
    Fly in on Sunday the 8th meet for dinner, then full day meeting on Monday the 9th and 1/2 day meeting on Tuesday the10th.

    1. Vegas - direct flight Long Beach to Vegas, no one wants to fly out of LAX if they can avoid it.

    No preference per say.   If I had to pick.  Denver is probably the most pleasant in Sept.

    I am good with either date and location.  I need to be back by the 11th for a class that I teach.

    1 - Denver
    2 - Phoenix
    3 - Las Vegas

    Phoenix and Las Vegas are both going to be a bit hot.  I just got back from Denver.  It was warm, but it's a dry heat. :)

    Thank you @Alan Clark​ that is nice offer.  We find it pretty easy to have the meeting room at the hotel.  I'll see if we can get a conference room added at the hotel, else I may take you up on the offer. 

    From a quick review, looks like Denver is in first place and dates of Sept 6 - 8 are preferred but either date set works.

    I'll contact the Embassy Suites in Denver and see what I can book for us.
