Bill of Materials Unit of Measure I have a customer that has a Bill whose Standard, Sales and Purchasing UOM is CS. A CS is made up of 6 bottles. The Bill itself has 6 lines, the first line's UOM is GAL, the other 5 are EA. So basically the Bill builds enough liquid mixture to fill a CS. Every report shows the UOM for the bill as CS except the Costed Bill of Materials Report. On the costed Report, the UOM on the header displays GAL as the UOM when it should be CS. This is driving the Customer nuts. He wants to know where that is coming from. I have searched all the files I know to look and can't come up with an answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen this before - can't remember exactly how we fixed it, seems like we tried rebuilding files, etc. - and nothing worked. Have you tried deleting that line of the BOM, accept, and then add back?

After futher testing, it appears that whatever the UOM is on the first Detail line, that UOM displays as the UOM of the Bill. The original first line of the Bill had GAL as the UOM, the second line had Each making the UOM for the Bill - Gal. When I switched the two Deatail lines and put the Each first, now the UOM for the entire Bill changed to Each. It is totally ignoring the UOM in Item Maintenance which is CS. I think this is a bug.

That sounds vaguely famliar from 4.4.0, or something really similar. I thought it had gotten fixed on one of the SUs.
