Sage 100

I have a client that is on Sage 100 2015 and moving on to Oracle and needs an export of BOMS with all level of components.  I have not been able to obtain this out of the standard tables as we only have the option to extract components at level one (from the Bill of material detail file) .  I tried using the standard indented BOM report and modifying it in an acceptable export format  - and that could work, except that,  for whatever reason,  their report is not working properly and only outputs the first component on a bill (fully exploded) and leaves out all the rest.

Any suggestions would be very helpful!  I know that converting the data to the latest version is probably the answer (for the issue with the report) but the client does not want to go down that road (understandably as they are moving off Sage).

Copy the data and convert on your system.  They can sign the information release.  Quote them a fixed fee.   Or preview the report in Crystal, copy the BMUserxxxx.WRK table, close the preview, rename the BMUserxxxx..WRK copy to the plain BM.WRK table and then do an ODBC Excel or Access query for the raw data.

I just did this for a couple Premium customers... set up as a SQL View to do the layers (up to 5... I didn't need more).  Get the BM detail data into a SQL table and anyone with good SQL skills can reshape it for you.
