    Client switch to the Standard desktop view and her BIE views do not display.  Switch back to Standard and life is good.  I am assuming we have to copy the views to another folder but not see anything logical.  Needless to say, she is back using standard.

    My experience is to have the user generate a single Business Insights Explorer View in CLASSIC Mode.  When prompted to show all data or the first 1000 records, make the settings to show all.  Then change the user setting from Classic to Standard, log off and log on again.  The BIE Explorer Views should work fine now.  If I am not mistaken, if this does not work, then the user does not have full control where the workstation client is installed. Check their permissions and try switching back to classic then to Standard, again.   The attached knowledgebase may help if these two suggestions do not.

    I think someone also posted here about a registry hack, but so far, I've used the method Madeline described. Not sure how permanent that fix is either.

    1. Click the Start, Run.
    2. In the Open field, enter Regedit click OK.
    3. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sage Software\BIE Explorer\Explorer
    4. Right-Click Explorer and choose Delete
    • Note: This subkey will get recreated on first use

    Circling back on this.  Client changed to Classic mode, ran a report, then changed back to Standard.  All is good in the Sage world now.
