Re: above, I just realized you can change the A/R module date to get by the apparent date limitation.
Note that the 'Clear Credit Card' utility won't allow you to clear credit cards with a future expiration date, i.e. per Help, "any date up to and including the current period's ending date can be entered in this field".

There is a utility at:
Accounts Receivable > Utilities > Clear Credit Care and ACH Information
Or you could just reinitialize AR_CustomerCreditCard
I think the utility removes them from the Vault so it may take longer
