Best practices for installing on server 2016? Second install in a week where I have had issues with Sage. Both are virtual servers running 2016. Plenty of memory (24gb). Asked to install as THE administrator, both times was told that IT person had admin rights. Finally have the first install working after running the ATTRIB function on the Sage folder after sharing it. Second install not functioning yet. Error encountered during the PU3 install on the second one, reran PU a second time with no error. IT claims I am a local admin, but I cannot access my user folder (see error message below). IT says he ran the attrib function but I still couldn't access the ..\home\lib\keys folder (activate.pvx). Once I gave myself full control on that folder, STD launched. Thoughts. Just a freaky Friday.

I just ran into an issue with that folder on an upgrade, too. IT screwed around and couldn't handle it - I finally just gave full rights to the folder a couple of levels above and all was well. IT has this place tightened down a little too much - apparently because the previous owner couldn't stop downloading crap right and left. LOL I think I may have still had to choose to run the Sage icon As Admin, though.
