Committee Membership

Being sensitive to the impact of Harvey and now Irma, the membership drive is postponed until sometime next week or the week after. It just didn't seem right to hold a membership drive with devastating storms landing across the US. @DarcyBoerio and @RobertWood hoping for the best for you and your families. The spaghetti models are accurate. It's like Schroedinger's weather forecast. All of those targets are right until it picks a route. Tampa usually doesn't get direct hits due to the geography. Neither does the area I live in. It will likely get windy and rainy. It just becomes a factor of how windy and rainy. Where I am, the biggest danger is likely tornadoes. Darcy has to look out for storm surge. And as Darcy said, you just never know.

Lourdes in Puerto Rico and the Scanforce folks and anyone else down in the Miami area have to really look out.

I recall that Lourdes is in PR - she did say she has her generator and more importantly it is keeping her stock of beer cold. I didn't remember about Scanforce, good to note. The uncertainty of the storm path would drive me nuts, I hope everyone's going to be okay.

It looks like PR is in the back half of the storm now.

I suppose we won't have word from Lourdes for a while, hope all is okay.
